A: The origin of the Jumpplat name goes back to when I was creating my very first game in The Games Factory. I wanted to create a platform game and, when thinking up a name for it, took the word 'jump' (something you do a lot in platform games) and added the first part of platform ('plat') to form 'Jumpplat'.

Unfortunately, the first game I ever created with the Jumpplat name got lost (along with the all the other early Jumpplat games) when my computer went bust. The game was rubbish so you weren't missing out on much.

Since then, I used Jumpplat for a lot of things.
